Mud off these curler skates. Flipper’s Curler Boogie Palace, a Seventies skating rink from Los Angeles, opened at Rockefeller Heart with a celebration on April 14. Usher and Liberty Ross, whose father opened the unique, invited a bevy of well-known associates together with Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre and Patti Smith. Not everybody skated.
The New York Academy of Artwork, the artwork faculty based by Andy Warhol and others, honored Kenny Scharf at its Tribeca Ball on Tuesday. Notable friends included Francesco Clemente, Brooke Shields and Helena Christensen.
Additionally that evening, Natasha Lyonne celebrated Season 2 of her Netflix present, “Russian Doll,” with a screening and after-party on the Bowery Hotel. Ms. Lyonne, who wore a bondage-inspired robe by Roberto Cavalli, was joined by Chloë Sevigny, Greta Lee, Amy Poehler and Charlie Barnett, one other star of the present.
