Momma Dee is setting the file straight about her relationship with Shay Johnson.
The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was slammed with criticism over the weekend after she attended Johnson’s gender reveal celebration following the fact star’s being pregnant announcement on social media.
Dee, 58, shared a number of flicks from the occasion in her Instagram story, and in a single video, the well-known matriarch wrote:
“Oops. I’m a Glam Grand-Godmother” as she hugged the ex of her son, Lil Scrappy.
Now in case you bear in mind, issues didn’t finish too effectively between Shay and the “No Issues” hitmaker.
Throughout her time with the franchise, Johnson grew to become embroiled in a love triangle between Scrappy and his child momma Erica Dixon. If you happen to can recall, Lil Scrappy’s mother and the rapper’s present spouse Bambi whom Dee calls “The Bam” haven’t been on the most effective of phrases, particularly after Momma Dee unfold that wild divorce rumor concerning the couple in Season 10 of Love & Hip Hop.
Bambi and Scrappy share three kids collectively: 3-year-old son, Breeland, two-year-old daughter, Xylo, and their new child daughter Cali, whom the couple welcomed again in July 2021.
One social media goer blasted Momma Dee on Bambi’s behalf saying:
“That is so disrespectful to Bam…Godmother or glam-ma, both approach, that is tasteless.”
Following the outpour of backlash, Momma Dee, whose actual identify is Deborah Bryant, took to the remark part to defend herself.
“For many who have a destructive remark, ME AND SHAY HAS BEEN FRIENDS LONG BEFORE HER AND MY SON HAVE DEALT WITH EACH OTHER,” she wrote, including, “So we’ll at all times be mom and daughter #DoYouHearMe #AndInThatOrder.”
Nicely, this one appears difficult! What do you suppose? Is Momma Dee switching sides or do you suppose it’s cool that she remained pals with Shay even after her relationship with Scrappy? Hopefully, this doesn’t ruffle Bambi’s feather’s both.
