Tyler Perry is bringing his iconic character Madea out of retirement for a Netflix film.
“A Madea Homegoing” is the primary Tyler Perry film to skip theaters and head on to the streaming platform.
Netflix dropped the primary trailer for “A Madea Homegoing” on Wednesday, after teasing the film on social media.
“Stay from her yard. I need to thank my unbelievable Moth-hive. MS-Chella,” Perry wrote on Instagram.
The film focuses on drama that erupts at Madea’s nice grandson’s faculty commencement celebration.
Tyler killed off his feisty grandmama character in 2019. He stated it was time to retire the outspoken senior citizen who had a prolonged prison document relationship again to age 9.
Madea’s prison historical past contains prices for assault with a lethal weapon, tried homicide and automobile theft.
“I simply do not need to be her age enjoying her,” stated Tyler, 52.
Madea’s remaining full size film function was A Madea Household Funeral in 2019.
